Abraxos Lodge
The Abraxos Lodge was founded in 2002, after a group od spiritual seekers made their contact with the Grand Master of the German branch of O.T.O.A. and L.C.N., and later with Michael Bertiaux. They have established close spiritual and magical bonds. The Polish Lodge became a vehicle through which the current of gnostic voudon operates in Poland. The Lodge is a help for the spiritual practice of all members of O.T.O.A. and L.C.N. This is its main goal. We don't seek large membership; we prefer quality over quantity, and the demands put on the candidates are high. The Lodge is not a "formal" organization. Formally all members belong to the Gnostic family of the O.T.O.A. and L.C.N., which are legally registered religious organizations working under the leadership of SGMA Courtney Willis and SGM David Beth, and will receive guidance according to their needs.
The name of the lodge tributes to the gnostic solar deity, said to resemble the attributes of Mitra or Yeshua (Jesus). Abraxos (Abraxas, Abrasax) is depicted as having the head of a cock, the body of a man and scorpios or snakes as his legs. In his hands he has a whip - the symbol of wisdom - and a shield, the symbol of power. His name was perhaps created by Basilides, the famous Alexandrian gnostic. In Gematria, the name of Abraxos sums up to 365, the number of the days in the solar cycle of the year, and also of the Aeons in the gnostic cosmology. The seven letters of his name refers to seven planetary powers. Abraxos himself is said to be an Archont who has converted to Gnosis. His realm is the Ogdoade, the sphere beyond confinements, which is a place where realised pneumatic gnostics reside.
In the cosmology drafted in the Monastery of the Seven Rays, Abraxos is the Divine Androgyne, the Godly Man, on whose body is stretched the whole universe. Different parts of his body are the poles of the initiation, whereby the masculine is connected with the feminine.
The members of the O.T.O.A. maintain friendly and fraternal relations with the representants of other schools of thought and spirituality. We respect all sincere seekers after initiation, truth, the Absolute or God, whatever their path or doctrine might be. We don't agree with dogmatism or intolerance. We consider diversity as treasure. We thank to our Friends and to those who have showed interest, sympathy and respect to our work.
At the same time, as in our country there's a lot of confusion n similar matters, we stress, that we don't have anything to do with the many satanic groups or the youth pseudo-occultists or many "magical orders" popular in the Internet. We won't list their names; however they participate in the creation of unpleasant stereotypes. With all respect, we wish them all the best on the spiritual path, of course.
Those interested in joining the O.T.O.A. should contact the Lodge by the address: svarabala@otoa-lcn.org. You should send an introduction well explaining your motives, especially why you choose O.T.O.A. in particular. You should also send a short biography, including the date of birth, education, place of living, a history of "spiritual wanderings", and also a clear picture. We will happily read any of your comments and other correspondence. Those who live outside of Poland should see the "contact" page to find about regional representatives of O.T.O.A.
Since not long ago, the pylons of O.T.O.A. are open also for beginners in the domain of gnosis or spirituality, of course only for those whose aspiration and potential is genuine. O.T.O.A. takes part in the initiatic tradition based on the living transmission, where the student is taught and supervised by a master of mentor. In the case of such wish it is also possible to be in touch with other members. The learning process is supported by the four year courses issued by the Monastery of the Seven Rays, lessons on gnostic voundon and other materials by Michael Bertiaux and other Adepti.
The O.T.O.A. "Abraxos Lodge" is accompanied by L.C.N. "Les Mysteres" Lodge.
"May the wisdom of light and love ,
which flows from the heart of all true seekers,,
always flow from my heart, as I seek to know my,
heart, forever and ever
