Manifest of the "Vilokan" Lodge

"Vilokan" Lodge was officially born at the end of an international meeting of Initiates of the Orders in Warsaw, from September 14 th -22 nd 2006. It was conceived as a result of the long-lasting and prolific, initiatory and fraternal relationship between some Italian OTOA/LCN members and the SGM Tau Melchizedek. From this initiatic relationship, a channel of power was created, originating directly from the Inner Sanctuary of the Franco-Haitian Current. This is a reason why the Italian Lodge puts itself in the position of a conservative and defensive bastion of the ancient tradition bearing the name, since the first decades of the XXth century, of the Jean-Maine Family. Such a role is especially needed in Italy,where still today, individuals claim to be connected in some way to the Franco-Haitian Tradition, even if such a connection does not exist. Our Lodge is installing for the first time in our country the pure and direct initiatic line of the Jean-Maine Family as transmitted by (SGMA Courtney Willis and SGM Tau Melchizedek.)

The Italian Logde has chosen to maintain a flexible structure, performing its tasks on different levels; it's an administrative centre of the OTOA/LCN and related bodies, it directs members, postulants and issues study and research materials, but at the same time there exists an inner experimental Lodge; such inner circle works in agreement with the ideals of pure occult research livening up the first Chicago-based OTOA Lodge at the end of the 1960's and the beginning of the 70's. This is a decisive choice, because it builds on and connects direct to the essence of the Franco-Haitian Current of the Inner Sanctuary of the Voudon Gnosis.

Presently the "Vilokan" Lodge, does not act as an initiatic lodge, but more as an administrative, teaching and research lodge. It is a flexible Lodge and is not too much concerned with the common idea of a "lodge"; while in Italy there exists an initiatic priestly nucleus of a Gnostic Church which is directly connected to the OTOA/LCN on different levels, it is not authorized to transmit Gnostic Voudon and related initiations. Initiatic authority, in accordance with the true mystery schools and afro-atlantean current, is by necessity an exclusive tool of a very few specially trained and consecrated high-priests, the SGM Tau Melchizedek being one of them. Our Lodge is under his direct supervision. While 'Vilokan' Lodge has a certain amount of experimental authonomy, it works always in direct synchonicity with the Inner Sanctuary of the Tradition. We DO NOT consider ourselves as an authonomous group acknowledging the Masters' authority, rather we consider ourselves as a direct emanation and child of the Sovereign Sanctuary with a direct initiatory connection.

The spirit animating the founders of the Lodge, is on the one hand a deep loyalty and devotion to our occult traditions and consequently a totally serious and rigid approach in every field and on the other hand an absolute determination to keep a social and occult equilibrium within the Lodge. We think the Lodge can grow only if all its members work with a right attitude, acknowledging the place of everyone within the chain, and the right approach. We systematically reject every form of intrusion,and we insist that every student is able to transcend particularism and to effect the alchemical miracle of the inner transmutation of him/herself. This is why we offer full assistance to our members, carrying the example of our experience and passion. We are convincted that being members of a Mystery School as the OTOA/LCN is a long-life task, a magical vow, more important than every other thing. This is why we carefully select applicants, basing ourselves more on their inner approach rather than on their esoteric scholarship. We wish every member to do the best he/she can. This is why we take the obligation to guide them, for we truly wish that every member one day becomes a true Master, even if it's quite a rare thing. Our role is not to give answers, rather we steer and guide worthy seekers to the doors of the Sanctuary,where the Masters will test them and, if they are found worthy, they will initiate them into the highest Mysteries.

We do not accept membership requests directly, but we are available to start a dialogue with the serious seekers interested in our work; after careful evaluations, they may be invited to become students. We do not accept students below the age of 21 years. We have no requirements in regards to sexual orientation, religion, political ideas, but we reserve our rights to terminate any agreement or relation with individuals involved in criminal behaviour or organizations promoting intolerance. Every student is free in his/her decision to be a member of other esoteric and spiritual organizations if these groups are not directly opposed to our teachings or currents.

Is our duty to point out and make clear that we represent the only original and true lineage of the Franco-Haitian Current as derived from the Jean-Maine Family and the current Hierophant Michael Bertiaux in Italy. Our Lodge is installing for the first time in our country the pure and direct initiatic line of the Jean-Maine Family as transmitted by Tau Melchizedek. We invite all who are interested into our work to beware of individuals and/or organizations claiming different things. Our system is very complex, it is a sophisticated and philosophical system fed by powerful elemental forces, and it is surely not for everyone. Reflection and deliberation are basic requirements to start a dialogue with us.

The Lodge's name,"Vilokan", indicates the White City of the Central Sun,Ville-Aux-Champs, in the Voudon mythology, the City of All Loa, the centre of Ginen. The immediate cabalistic correspondence is Tiphareth, the Heart, the Sun. To us, Vilokan is an image of the Heavenly Jerusalem, the throne of the Christ, who died and resurrected for us, and it is an image of Legbha, the Christ of the Voudon Gnosis, the absolute initiatic model.
